Testimonials

“This training has taught me to be open minded and independent. As a team leader in the training, it taught me to be patient with the people I work with and listen to other’s opinions with an open mind. What I enjoyed the most was discovering that I had a passion for design work. I also learnt a lot about persons with disability during the training and now I look forward to utilizing the skills I have to finish what we started in the training and build solutions for persons with disability. I also made made new friends”

Hanna Nyambura

“The training taught me alot about documentation and planning of my work. I also worked with a team of 6 people and learnt how to collaborate. I initially had no confidence to present my ideas before a large audience, through practice I have gained confidence to be more expressive when  presenting before people.

The experience gained in developing our project during the training including use of softwares to design will be useful for me in developing other projects in future.”

Patheneus

“I had not made a product by myself before. The training required that I exercise creativity and come up with a product. I can now deal with team mates much better as I have learnt that each person is special in their own way and when you give them a chance, people can really surprise you at what they are able to do.

The reflective practice has challenged me to think of more ideas and put more effort in the testing and implementation of those ideas.”
